Abstract

This article presents a comparative analysis of the styles and works of Millôr Fernandes and Saul Steinberg, two artists who, despite their distinct cultural contexts, share aesthetic and philosophical affinities. Through graphic humor, both developed profound social critiques using minimalist drawing as an expressive tool. The study explores their similarities and differences, with special attention to the representation of the female figure, revealing how each artist constructs visual and verbal narratives that engage with issues of identity, power, and culture.
